I'm mostly calling them Rain Dragons now. Meh, doesn't matter.
I just felt like drawing a male and female so as to solidify the sexual dimorphism between them in my mind.
Of course it didn't come out quite as I imagined, but I forgot exactly what I had imagined til partway through, since I'd.. desired to draw this.. like a month ago..
Good tablet test though, i have discovered that unfortunately I can't do what I wanted to (zoom out to 25 percent and draw the whole thing) cuz the lines are jagged if i'm not at 100% view or more... and that means I'm still using my mousedrawing technique of doing a big-outline sketch first, then going over that zoomed further in. It turned out pretty great! .. well not as good as I've done before.. but still good.

Also the female looks kinda fat. I guess she might be pregnant or something... or the male might be a bit younger, which would explain why I didn't go as overboard with his cranial featherscalehair as I wanted to.
Man, I wasted WAY too much time on that background for it to end up just looking like a gradient. It's really 4 different colors of clouds blended together.. with like 3 filters.. XD
EDIT: did I.. did I forget to draw the hallux?? o.O... ... mrr... it's in there.. it's ... just not showing yeah that's it.
Actually it seems to get fatigued fairly often and not register that I've picked up the pen til a good second or two after I have.. but if I just give it a little rest it goes back to normal ^_^'
